So... Govt has finally lost it. They want contacts that provide targeting reticules to their soldiers within 3-5 years. I hope this helps the group with man and machine interaction. There is also a History Channel show called Man and Machine, but I don't know if that will be as good.

ugh *shivers...i can't believe that's actually happening...i'm practically blind and doctors say i can't wear contacts, but then the gov wants to lens that want to do this! hey what about helping the little people first!!

Jonathan -- that is GREAT! It is called contextual linking and it is just one way that writing on the Internet is completely different from writing on paper. It is really something that should be taught to students. I also find it funny that the paper version of a works cited page in MLA format requires students to remove the hyperlink created by Microsoft Word... organizations that work with teachers and education have a really long way to go.

And this whole discussion really belongs with education as we discuss it on Horizon.

I find it interesting how on this project that we're not only studying the project, that we BECOME what we are studying also. Experiential knowledge has a lot of influence on what we'll find, I believe.

You can may that a hyperlink by highlighting the words and clicking the link button. However, I would suggest contextual linking. Instead, your post would look like this.
