Horizon Project 2008

A networking space for teachers and students of the Horizon Project 2008

Collective Intelligence is the name given to research and knowledge that is put together by people from all over the world. Collective intelligence is evident in projects such as Wikipedia, blogging communities such as our class ITGS Blog, and webcast communities such as Teachers Teaching Teachers where people come together to share their research and experiences instantly online.

The trend I focused on for this project was government and employment and in my video I tried to convey what the future of collective intelligence in this area will be like. I focused on two things: making decisions and processions in government more participatory for everyone with the help of IT and the increased ability of all people to access these IT tools.

The shot cups in my slide represent my slogan, "Cheers to the future of collective intelligence!"
