About Me:

I have lived in suburban Chicago all my life, sadly isolated from the rich culture of the world, and I look forward to, and long, to learn more about the world we share.

I also enjoy debating, and I'm also a member of the Amnesty International club. (I'm curious which of the participating countries have active divisions. I know Australia does.) In free time, I hang out with friends, follow the news, and, occasionally, sleep.

For those in my group, my special qualifications include a summer course in youth activism in our community, a 3 week immersion trip in Costa Rica, and experience in leadership as president of my Junior High's student council. I also enjoy taking a piece of advice from the Dalai Lama, and choose not to take life too seriously, although I do work diligently.

All in all, I'm very excited to intereact internationally, learn about our world, and develop as a person as a consequence.

Hi,
I'm Mitch(el), a student at The Glenbrook Academy. At school, I'm involved in debate and Amnesty International club, as well as radio broadcasting. You can actually listen to my weekly show Tuesdays from 4-5pm (CST). at
