This is an example of a virtual world using a Flash program as the gaming platform
The program Flash enables us to design simple games. It allows us to explore our creativity and artistical talents, as well as putting information in, in this example the art.
Using Flash we created worlds as part of our assessment tasks for Digital Movie Making. Using similar techniques we can create other educational worlds using 3d computing.
As the techniques and games are improved over time, we see more physical and educational benefits. Wii for example is now incorporating fitness into its core program and Nintendo DS’s are releasing more games to train the mind and eyesight.
