Post Project Reflection

In this years Horizon Project I learned that time management and communication are fundamental. This type of project is important because it teaches students how to communicate with people from other countries. If they want to have a big business job where the travel all around the world, they will need to be able to talk and socialize with people from other countries. The highlight of the project was being able to help people with the problems they had on the… Continue

Growing up Technology

I agree 100% with Mr. Don Tapscott. I agree that our education system needs a lot of change. At our school, most of our teachers give lectures and class can be pretty boring. History, to me, is already boring in itself. So when you get a lecture about something that is already boring, the class can be painful to sit through.

It would be great for more interaction and a "hands on" learning experience. It is always fun to do interesting pro… Continue

Horizon Assignment #3

I have found that 3D computing is starting to spread beyond gaming. 3D is still being fabricated and is rough sometimes but it is coming along and will be among us in the near future. You can now find 3D and computer graphics in movies and some of the TV shows you watch.

HEY! Umm... I can't remember what I was going to say... hold on... Oh yeah. For the photos you requested of Second Life, since we are both using teen second life, we can't get pictures of anything worth while. BUT, the tech coordinator at my school did a whole lot of work with second life. If you click here, you can get all the pictures that he took. He has given us permission to use the screen shots that he took, so go nuts!

Sounds good :). I still have no clue when I will get on. Right now we are in the middle of our musical, so all heck is breaking loose. I'll get back to you when I make a name.

:). No problem. We need to get people in and editing. Do you think that there is any way we could get a different sort of forum for us to discuss? I don't really love the Ning group.

Yeah, that sounds good. I still need to get the okay to use second life before I go on. Just tell me your second life name when you get a chance.

And we need to start contacting each other via message or email as far as the PM and aPM reports.
