School and Country
Glenbrook Academy of International Studies U.S.
About Me:
Hey everyone! My name is Leanne. I’m SO excited to be involved in the Horizon Project, I know it’s going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I love learning about other cultures and learning what other teenagers around the world like to do in their spare time, and what they think about other issues. The Glenbrook Academy is very used to talking about anything and everything, and it's the only class around here that does that. We had to be interviewed and write essays to apply to be in the Glenbrook Academy and there were about 150 people that applied... the 30 of us got in! It will be interesting to see how other people feel and if their class us as unique as ours. My interests include: singing and/or acting (theater) I love making people laugh, if I could have any career I'd be a stand-up comic. Music: Sheryl Crow, Death Cab For Cutie, Guster, Train, Blink 182, Bowling for Soup. Movies, I love them! Making them, watching them, being in them...comedies, horrors, action, science fiction : ). My favorite TV shows are: LOST, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Family Guy, Boy Meets World, and King of Queens. I have traveled to Japan on a People to People Student ambassador trip and I LOVED the country! I've been to France and Costa Rica as well.

Don't worry a lot of people have had problems understanding the video. You need to create your own video about your sub group topic that is 3-5 minutes long. You need to have an outsourced clip, which is a video clip from someone in a different school. This is a chance for you to be creative with your subject so there is no set giudlines. I know this is still vague but i hope I have started pointing you in the right direction. Any questions you have please please ask and I will do my best to answer them.
