What is the Future of Education??

I agreed with what Don Tapscott said about how the educational system needs to change. I liked what he said about how the educational system has been the same for about 100 years. I think that it is time for some change. Students should be the real teachers in the classroom. They should learn the way that suits them best. Delicious...

In my computer science classroom we have been using del.icio.us, which is a social bookmarking website. People get accounts on this website and whenever they see a cool website that they would like to remember, they bookmark it. They also add a tag which is like a special key word to be able to search for the site later. In addition to the tag, a person using del.icio.us also adds a summary that shows up when they search for their bookmark.
