- Hi everyone!
Ok so about me, I grew up and live in Glenview, Illinois.
I really like Glenview, but when I am older (out of college) I really
want to live in Chicago. My favorite thing to do is play basketball;
my dream is to play at Duke! I am currently on an AAU team for
basketball and this season we are planning on playing in tournaments
in North Carolina, Texas, possibly Michigan!! I am so excited!
I guess I am really social person mostly because I like talking to people. I
think it is interesting to get to know different types of people
because everyone has a story to tell, and hanging out around
different people, I think, makes life more fun. I also love spending time with my friends, it doesn’t really mater what we do though, as long as we are together we have a good time!
My favorite place to visit is Grand Cayman, my grandparents have a
house there and it is the perfect place to go over the summer or
winter to relax and rejuvenate after a long school year. When I am
there I usually tan and read a lot. I love to read, especially books
of my choice (usually the book required for school are interesting,
but I prefer to pick them out myself). I like school and learning, but
I hate homework. My favorite class is Spanish, and I hope one day to
become fluent in the language.
When I have time, I love watching Gossip Girl, Lost, Grey's Anatomy,
and America's Next Top Model. I also love music. I am not a good
singer though, but I still love to sing and listen to music. I don't
really have a favorite genre or favorite song, but I really like John
Mayor, Fine Frenzy, and right now I love Sara Bareilles.
For this project my main goal is to learn about the other students
and their views from around the world. I am really excited for this
project and once I learn how to use all the technology I would even
wake up in the middle of the night to talk to people from Australia, Japan, or wherever

Hobbies & Sports & More!
Hey Everyone!
I thought it would be a good idea to have a place where we could post stuff about what hobbies, sports, or other activities we do outside of school. Because there are students from all over the world on this Ning I think it would be interesting to know what students from other countries do for fun or in their spare time. Also I think we will get more out of this project if we are able to learn and connect with one and other outside of the classroom.
