Benefits: 1) -Students are forced to work with others to learn and create much like in a typical working environment
-similar to what students will experience when they get into the corporate world
2) -out sourcing of labor? (connection to The World Is Flat)
3) -better acquainting with "netiquette" and using SOS to advantage
-using SOS as more than just dating/friending sites

Benifitis:
-Allows students to communicate with teachers and classmates outside of the classroom.
-Allows students and teachers to share aricles & images ect. Easily and quickly. Saves paper :)
-Helps students keep bookmarks of websites ect.

Drawbacks:
-Distracts students and is easily abused
-Difficult to monitor students computer/laptop screens
-Can be abused with students messaging eachother and can be used as a form of anonymous bullying.
